Jet Express with Citrix - general guidelines

In order to use Jet Express with Citrix, the following guidelines apply.

• Publish the entire desktop (we do not support using Jet Express with Citrix if the entire desktop is not published)

If using Jet Express for Dynamics NAV:
• If using NAV 2009R2 or earlier, Jet Express for NAV, Excel, the NAV Classic Client and corresponding NAV SDK must be installed on the Citrix desktop.
• If using NAV 2013 or later, Jet Express for NAV, Excel, and the NAV Client must be installed on the Citrix desktop.


• Regardless of how you decide to configure Jet Express, the Excel options and Jet Express options are stored on a per-user basis. This means that each user will have to run "Activate" from the Start Menu to get access to Jet Express and enter their username and password into Jet's settings. It also means that your database security will be maintained since each user's credentials are stored separately.
